The airport
One field: BWI Thurgood Marshall, on the south west side of the region off the I-195 spur. Every ride this desk books starts or ends there.
That is a deliberate limit. The operators who work well at one airport know its curbs, its holding areas, its bad hours and its permit rules. Spreading a small desk across three fields in two states is how a booking service becomes unreliable at all of them.
Inside the zone
| County or city | Places named on the run sheet |
|---|---|
| Baltimore City | Canton, Fells Point, Harbor East, Inner Harbor, Federal Hill, Locust Point, Riverside, Port Covington, Mount Vernon, Bolton Hill, Station North, Charles Village, Remington, Hampden, Woodberry, Highlandtown, Brewers Hill, Greektown, Patterson Park, Pigtown |
| Baltimore County | Dundalk, Essex, Rosedale, Parkville, Towson, Lutherville, Timonium, Catonsville, Arbutus, Halethorpe |
| Anne Arundel County | Glen Burnie, Linthicum, Ferndale, Pasadena, Severna Park, Annapolis, the Broadneck side |
| Howard County | Columbia, Ellicott City, Elkridge, Jessup |
| Harford County, southern edge | Bel Air and Abingdon, with more notice than the rest |
If your address is near an edge of that list, telephone and ask rather than guess. The desk would rather tell you yes or no in thirty seconds than have you wonder.
What most of these pickups look like

Outside the zone, and honestly so
- Washington National and Washington Dulles. Different market, different operators, different permits. We do not quote them and we do not arrange them through anybody else.
- Philadelphia, Richmond and Dover. Same reasoning, further away.
- The Eastern Shore beyond Kent Island. The bridge makes the timing a different trade.
- Anything that is not an airport run. No hourly hire, no weddings, no all day charters, no point to point work across the city. This desk books rides to and from a terminal.
- Any ride outside Maryland. Including the short ones that look easy on a map.
There is no waiting list for any of these and asking twice will not change the answer. It is a small desk that does one thing.
Why the zone is drawn this way
Three reasons, in order of how much they matter.
- Permits are local. The operators working this desk hold the passenger permits for this region. That paperwork does not travel, and neither should the promise built on top of it.
- Knowledge is local. Everything on the crossings page is worth nothing at an airport with no harbor in the middle of its city. The value here is specific.
- A small desk should be reachable. One telephone number, one set of hours, one region. Widen any of those and the thing people actually like about it stops being true.
Coverage does not mean availability
Being inside the zone means the desk will quote you. It does not mean a vehicle exists for your hour, and the two get confused constantly.
Availability is checked with an operator after your request lands, which is why the answer comes back by telephone rather than instantly on screen. On an ordinary Tuesday the answer is almost always yes. On the Sunday after Thanksgiving at 5:00 am it may well be no, and you would rather hear that a week early.
Send the request with your dates and the desk will check availability for them, or telephone +1 (443) 612-4708 during hours and speak to a specialist about available dates.
